Muscle Oxygenation Overview
Muscle Oxygenation refers to the flux of oxygen within a target tissue as the result of oxidative respiration. Delivery of oxygenated blood from the heart & lungs and uptake or extraction of oxygen by the mitochondria within the local muscle.
